ARTIST STATEMENT
I find joy in photographing nature. It is in part a restorative process for me. It offers peace and solace from those pressures and experiences of working in the medical field, as well as those I experience in my own life.
Through my lens, I seek out poetic moments that reaffirm the elemental beauty and enduring character of my environment. I appreciate the surprises that I encounter when taking time to see the unseen.
I work with Canon and Sony digital cameras, a twin lens Rolleiflex, and an SX-70 vintage refurbished instant film camera.
